Civil Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead our corridor management team in Bundaberg, Queensland. This role offers a unique blend of professional and personal growth opportunities, along with a relaxed and inviting lifestyle.

About the Role

This is a high-level engineering position that requires leadership and technical expertise to oversee road corridor activities in the Wide Bay/Burnett District. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing teams.

  • Provide technical direction and manage development control, access control, ancillary works, and encroachments control and services liaison activities.
  • Lead the corridor management team and collaborate with advisors and other key stakeholders.
  • Offer technical, legislative, and policy advice on assessment of development applications and road corridor management issues.
  • Support and advise on planning and design suitability, quality, environmental aspects, and construction practices.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • A four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree or equivalent assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • A current car driver's licence.
