Project Director

Manage and oversee multiple civil projects in Bargara and Burnett Heads. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of these projects while working closely with experienced site teams and supported by senior management.

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our first projects in the region, contributing to our continued growth as we secure and deliver more civil works in Bundaberg.

To achieve this, you will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, utilising your expertise in civil construction and subdivision works to drive project planning, programming tasks, and ensure project compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project planning and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Accountable for ensuring project compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Responsible for assessing and forecasting project's financial performance on a monthly basis.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and manage the performance of employees, subcontractors, procurement, and equipment necessary to meet project requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and train relevant staff while addressing and resolving any performance issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in delivering subdivision projects is highly regarded.
  • Strong skills in managing client relationships and building positive relationships with subcontractors are crucial.
  • Exceptional people management abilities and proven track record in employee development are required.
