Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Leader to join our team. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in leading our Corridor Management team and providing high-level engineering expertise.

You will be responsible for managing development control, access control, ancillary works, and encroachments control and services liaison activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Corridor Management Team: Provide technical advice on assessment of development applications and road corridor management issues.
  • Manage Development Control: Supervise and coordinate resource allocation and foster a positive attitude toward organisational objectives.
  • Servicing Liaison Activities: Maintain and apply relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
  • Support Planning and Design: Advise on planning and design suitability, options, materials, resources, quality, environmental aspects, and construction practices.
Requirements
  • A four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from an Australian institution or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Current car driver's licence.
  • Criminal history check prior to appointment.
