About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring seamless service and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals to provide outstanding service to our guests.
  • Ensure efficient and effective service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and control inventory, managing stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
