Job Title: Education Specialist

Join our team as an Education Specialist and play a crucial role in the management of educational programs. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating with academic staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and have excellent communication skills. You will work closely with lecturers, Heads of Departments, Deans, and administrative staff to ensure that educational programs meet the needs of students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate educational programs with academic staff
  • Consult with lecturers, Heads of Departments, Deans, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences
  • Identify and evaluate developments in education through research into higher education systems
  • Serve on committees to identify present and future needs within the educational system
  • Plan, develop, and modify facilities and programs to meet the needs of students and stakeholders
  • Organize and conduct workshops and conferences to train lecturers in new course methods and techniques
  • Observe lecturers in the classroom and provide feedback on teaching techniques and student engagement
  • Discuss programs, records, and lecturers with Compliance Manager and Course Coordinator to ensure academic performance and student welfare

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualified
  • Proven experience in working with academic staff and higher education sector
  • Broad experience in course design and implementation of training packages
  • Good understanding of Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), ESOS Act, and National Code 2018
