Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated expert to contribute to the development and implementation of our health, safety, and environmental systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mentor staff on best practices related to health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Participate in project mobilization, risk assessment governance, on-site inspections, and training sessions
  • Provide guidance and support to site-based resources throughout the project lifecycle
  • Offer advice to project teams and provide feedback to senior management on health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Train staff on company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental systems
  • Evaluate system effectiveness and provide site-based feedback for improvement
  • Collaborate with the National Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to improve system usability for site workers
  • Participate in external audits, communicate audit reports, and assist project teams in closing out corrective actions
  • Attend client and external meetings, audits, and inspections as required
  • Support site teams in reporting and managing incidents and participate in investigations as needed
