Culinary Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Culinary Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our chefs to prepare and present high-quality meals that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary requirements.
  2. Assist with meal preparation, plating, and delivery of resident meal services.
  3. Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and compliance standards.
  4. Collaborate with chefs and catering staff to enhance the dining experience for our residents.
  5. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  1. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) is preferred.
  2. Experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in aged care or large-scale catering, is highly desirable.
  3. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential.
  4. Knowledge of safe food handling and workplace health and safety is required.
  5. Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail is crucial.
