Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Food and Beverage Supervisor to coordinate and deliver exceptional hospitality services within a high-end restaurant bar and events caterer. This is a full-time fixed-term position for up to two years.

The successful candidate will supervise and lead service in the restaurant and event catering, handle guest complaints, manage the electronic diary, and liaise with kitchen and event teams.

Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring security, overseeing POS system updates, training and motivating food and beverage attendants, managing staffing within budgeted wage costs, training staff on menu knowledge and dietary requirements, managing stock ordering, organizing storage, and assisting with monthly stocktakes.

Reconcile daily takings, prepare reports, and support account finalisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume fine dining establishment
  • Demonstrated experience in events and off-site catering as well as coffee experience
  • Current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and premium dining operations
  • Proven ability to program and manage POS systems effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining high standards under pressure in a fast-paced environment
