About the Role:

Experienced Quality Control professionals are sought to join our team in Wingfield, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet client specifications by testing them before, during and after production.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and processes
  • Complete set processes and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety and Quality
  • Guide process staff with quality measures

A high level of fitness is required to work in a refrigerated environment and handle raw poultry products. Relevant skills include a basic understanding of HACCP and GMP principles, previous experience in QA/QC within a food manufacturing environment, and a food science degree or diploma.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fitness to work in a refrigerated environment and handle raw poultry products
  • Basic understanding of HACCP and GMP principles
  • Previous experience in QA/QC within a food manufacturing environment
  • Food science degree or diploma and recent experience working with food or food science background
  • Reliable and attentive team player with flexibility to work AM/PM, weekends and overtime
  • Own car/vehicle and current driver's licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Positive attitude, high level of safety focus and knowledge
