Job OverviewWe're seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist for a 10-month fixed-term contract to revolutionise our customer communications. As the driving force behind creating bespoke, automated journeys, you'll engage customers throughout their lifecycle – from onboarding to long-term retention.
Using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you'll transition our approach from one-off email campaigns to intelligent, always-on programs that are both customer-centric and data-driven. You'll blend technical expertise with marketing strategy to deliver meaningful, measurable impact, ensuring every interaction adds value to our customers and strengthens their relationship with our brand.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute data-driven customer journeys to boost engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Create and manage automated, multi-step journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring they're tailored and insight-led.
- Optimise existing lifecycle programs and introduce new automation opportunities where gaps exist.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align lifecycle marketing with business objectives.
- Define and track key performance metrics, running A/B tests and applying insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion best practice in lifecycle marketing and share results to educate and inspire stakeholders.

- 5+ years of experience in CRM, marketing automation, or lifecycle marketing.
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and data extensions.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle strategies that drive retention and engagement.
- Proven ability to design and implement automated, multi-step journeys.
- An analytical mindset with experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate.
