Senior Manager Associate Director

This unique consultancy excels in partnering with clients to help them achieve their business and personal goals.

The directors have invested heavily in technology, offshore staff, and a dedicated marketing function, freeing up your time to be spent working with clients and solving their problems rather than doing administrative tasks.

The Role

You will work alongside the director and take charge of a portfolio of around clients. You will be expected to provide a strong consultative approach in building long-term relationships with these clients.

Your ongoing duties will include:

  • Developing and managing financial budgets, forecasts, and three-way projections (profit, cash flow, balance sheet).
  • Designing and overseeing operational and financial KPIs, management reporting systems, and executive team reporting.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including margins, risk, and strategic business metrics.
  • Providing cost-cutting, revenue-building, and margin-enhancement strategies based on analytical insights.
  • Leading financial strategy development and implementation, including business buy/sell due diligence.
  • Supporting CFO leadership, delivering training, and improving organisational financial literacy.

About You
  • 10+ years' experience in another Australian or New Zealand construction, consulting or accounting firm.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the building, construction & development industries.
  • Able to demonstrate previous success in a similar managerial role with quantifiable impacts.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence clients.
  • Acting for the best businesses across all levels.
  • Deep knowledge of the current career opportunities, including those roles not advertised - ie, the 'hidden' job market.
