The project focuses on developing an online application system for parents to provide details of their child and schools to effectively manage incoming applications. You will be utilizing Agile and continuous delivery techniques to balance speed to market, high-quality outputs, and fit-for-purpose solutions to drive first-class customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and negotiating the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
  • Supporting the management of the product backlog with Product Owners.
  • Tracing business requirements through to delivery to meet business and strategic goals.
  • Creating, analyzing, and validating functional specifications and completing gap analyses.
  • Collaborating closely with developers to implement requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process.
  • Raising risks and issues to the team.
  • Eliciting and documenting business and systems requirements using Agile tools and practices.
  • Contributing to training materials, user, and system documentation where required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a senior business analyst in a large complex IT environment.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience writing user stories and clearly articulating acceptance criteria to the team.
  • Experience working with UI, UX, preferably in a service design context.
  • Customer-facing experience in business analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in all stages of the project life-cycle and managing the delivery of services through each stage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and self-directing skills, coupled with a positive attitude.
  • Capacity to work across a wide range of skill bases and respond flexibly as priorities emerge.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in cloud solutions and systems integration is desirable.
