Operational Transportation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Operations Supervisor to lead our transport operations team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the transport operations team
- Ensuring Safety and Compliance within the inhouse transport group
- Managing the execution of transport functions for all internal and external stakeholders
- Planning and oversight of Customer Deliveries ensuring service level agreements are met
- Ensuring invoicing accuracy from a Transport perspective
- Providing leadership, direction and coaching for direct reports
- Managing the onboarding of new team members and ongoing training requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a Transport Related role
- Experience managing frontline workers
- Knowledge of Container Transport industry
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Effective planning skills
