**Are you a dynamic and experienced professional passionate about transport logistics and asset management? Bitu-mill is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to lead our transport operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence in service delivery.**

**About the Role**

**As our Transport Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating transport assets, planning and overseeing logistics, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with road haulage regulations. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, cost-effective, and compliant transport solutions while contributing to the strategic direction of our operations.**

**This position is located in Campbellfield and reports to the Profiling State Manager.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Oversee daily transport operations, including route planning and resource allocation.**:

- **Ensure compliance with NHVR, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility regulations.**:

- **Manage transport asset maintenance and repair costs effectively.**:

- **Prepare and analyse financial reports to optimise performance.**:

- **Lead and mentor a skilled team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.**:

- **Engage and manage subcontractors to meet business demands.**

**What We're Looking For**
- **Experience: 5+ years in transport coordination, fleet management, and logistics.**
- **Strong understanding of NHVR regulations and compliance requirements.**:

- **Leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering accountability.**:

- **Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and transport software.**:

- **Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.**
- **Adaptable, resilient, and client-focused with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.**:

- **Excellent road knowledge of Victoria State, including Regions and Metro areas.**
