About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our team in building operational solutions for Melbourne's transport future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilise and prepare control room operators, including recruitment, rostering, and induction.
  • Develop and embed operational processes, procedures, and workflows to ensure readiness for transition to Operations and Maintenance phase.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and asset teams to understand operational handover requirements, critical system interfaces and testing and commissioning.
Operational Leadership
  • Lead ongoing operation of NorthEastLink control room, managing operational staff, plant alarms, and life-saving systems.
  • Oversee system use and technical processes, ensuring operational systems support safe and efficient motorway operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying better ways of working and embedding lessons learned into operational practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation management and operational leadership.
