Role Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our business advisory team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing financial reports, preparing tax returns and BAS statements for various entities.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Producing and maintaining financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon software
  • Preparing tax returns, FBT and financial statements for different business entity types
  • Preparing BAS and IAS returns
  • Calculating and reconciling payroll tax
  • Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPIs for clients
  • Assisting with the development of junior colleagues

About You:

  • Demonstrate established accounting experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications
  • Experience preparing tax returns for a variety of entities for small to medium size businesses
  • Able to generate financial statements and management reports
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive and personable
