Financial Professional - Business Advisory

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to join our business advisory team in Darwin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-driven individual who is passionate about the work they do, to grow their skills and knowledge within a supportive team environment.

This challenging and rewarding role will see you progress into the next phase of your career with solid training, support, and technical exposure. You will work closely with the Director and other senior members of the team, assisting with the provision of advice and ad hoc advisory work to provide a range of accounting solutions to a diverse and growing client base.

  • Prepare BAS & IAS returns
  • Prepare tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different entity types
  • Produce & maintain financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon Software
  • Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPIs for clients
  • Calculate and reconcile payroll tax and RTWSA lodgements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience within an accounting firm, with a relevant tertiary qualification and be studying or aspiring to CA or CPA qualifications. They will possess a good technical knowledge and ability to generate financial statements and management reports, as well as being able to confidently communicate with their peers.
