Financial Leadership Role - Northern TerritoryAbout the Opportunity:

The Financial Controller will lead our finance team, overseeing all aspects of financial operations including management reporting, budgeting, payroll, compliance and process improvement. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and the ability to influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the organisation's finance function, ensuring robust internal controls and timely accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers and the leadership team to develop budgeting and forecasting strategies.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable and monthly BAS submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including annual audit and insurance renewals.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support business growth opportunities.
  • Foster a high-performing professional finance team through leadership, coaching and development.
Requirements:
  • CPA or CA qualification (essential).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
