As a Director of Cybersecurity, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our cybersecurity initiative.

This is a challenging opportunity that requires a proven track record in leading security audits, implementing large-scale cybersecurity programs, and providing strategic advice to senior executives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and experience using Australian government security frameworks, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), and the Information Security Manual (ISM).

Responsibilities include developing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and operating models while growing and mentoring high-performing teams within the security competency.

  • Lead rigorous security assessments to evaluate and enhance organisational security posture.
  • Oversee large-scale cybersecurity program implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel to senior executives on cybersecurity risks, trends, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies aligned with organisational goals and regulatory mandates.
  • Design and establish tailored cybersecurity frameworks and operating models.
  • Identify business opportunities within the cybersecurity domain and develop strategies to grow a portfolio of services.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the cybersecurity team.
  • Build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams across the cybersecurity competency.
