Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Support Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our training program, you will provide expert support and guidance to trainees, ensuring their success in our aviation technical training programs.

This role involves providing educational support activities, monitoring student progress, conducting language, literacy, and numeracy assessments, and developing positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a continuous improvement approach, and strong computer literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver educational/vocational specialist support services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) trainees
  • Monitor student course progress for failure risks and trends, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address these
  • Conduct language, literacy, and numeracy assessments and analysis for incoming courses
  • Support the development of educational advice and Aviation Technical Training support
  • Conduct educational support and progress management interviews for trainees
  • Foster positive relationships with internal, external, and customer stakeholders
Requirements
  • Educational support experience or vocational education training experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A continuous improvement approach with effective relationship-building skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Suite
