The primary responsibility of the HANA Database Systems Expert will be managing critical topics related to Incident Management, Problem Management, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore from database point of view.

Key responsibilities include installation, upgrades, performance tuning, security management, high availability strategy implementation, experience in working independently in large scale production environments, willingness to work in shifts/oncall model as per business need, contribution to automation, scripting, and documentation of day-to-day operations.

Candidates should have over 9+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in Global Operations team primarily on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms, however any database technology is welcome, proven track record of operational experience and on call experience, backup & recovery, HA/DR Strategy, scripting & automation exposure.

Exposure to automation tools/scripting or processes, DB installations and upgrade, planning, setup and implementation, providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of Systems, performance optimization, DB concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability, and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication is must.
