SAP HANA Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services in Sydney, Australia.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving critical topics related to Incident Management, Problem Management, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Restore from a database point of view.
  • They will require expertise in SAP HANA Database administration, with additional experience in ASE/DB2 also being welcome.

The ideal candidate will have over 9 years of work experience as a Database Administrator in global operations teams, with expertise in SAP HANA Database administration.

About the Job:

The role involves installation, upgrades, performance tuning, security management, and high availability strategy implementation.

  • Experience in working independently in large-scale production environments is essential, as is willingness to work in shifts/oncall model as per business need.
  • The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to automation, scripting, and documentation of day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operational experience and on-call experience, with exposure to automation tools/scripting or processes, DB installations and upgrade, planning, setup, and implementation.

Key Requirements:
  • Expertise in SAP HANA Database administration
  • Additional experience in ASE/DB2
  • Experience in working independently in large-scale production environments
