SAP HANA Database Expert Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of SAP HANA Database Expert.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience working on SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms. The primary responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, increasing operation, availability, and efficiency, as well as infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption.

You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of systems, performance optimization, and implementing security measures. Additionally, you will organize and structure day-to-day documentation as needed and be willing to take on-call duty/weekend tasks during working hours.

The successful candidate will have over 13+ years of work experience as a Database Administrator in Global Operations teams, exposure to automation tools/scripting or processes, and knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operation, availability, and efficiency.
  • Conduct infrastructure landscape re-architecture and adopt new technologies to enhance system performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning systems.
  • Implement security measures to safeguard data integrity.
  • Organize and structure day-to-day documentation to ensure easy access to critical information.
  • Take on-call duty and weekend tasks as required to maintain system uptime.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 13+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in Global Operations teams.
  • Experience working with SAP HANA and ASE Database Platforms.
