About This Role:
  • As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for managing and driving critical topics related to incident management, problem management, high availability, disaster recovery, backup & restore from a database perspective.
  • Expertise in SAP HANA database administration is essential, with ASE/DB2 experience welcome.
  • Your responsibilities will include installation, upgrades, performance tuning, security management, and high availability strategy implementation.
  • You will also contribute to automation, scripting, and documentation of day-to-day operations.

This role requires a proven track record of operational experience and on-call experience. You should have 9+ years of work experience as a database administrator in global operations teams, primarily working on SAP HANA and ASE database platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive critical topics related to incident management, problem management, high availability, disaster recovery, and backup & restore
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies
  • Contribute to automation, scripting, and documentation of day-to-day operations
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain database systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • Expertise in SAP HANA database administration
  • ASE/DB2 experience welcome
  • Proven track record of operational experience and on-call experience
  • 9+ years of work experience as a database administrator in global operations teams
  • Primary experience working on SAP HANA and ASE database platforms
