About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner to join our team at Charles Sturt University. As a key member of our Finance Division, you will play a critical role in building partnerships with key client groups and facilitating the implementation of best practice financial management across the university.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial advice, information, and tools to support financial capability and informed business decisions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business units and senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement financial management strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, planning, and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems, including Excel and financial planning software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
