Senior Systems Integration Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Integration Specialist who wants to apply their expertise in delivering systems integration and automation capabilities within a top-tier financial institution.

About the Role
  • The role involves designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise systems, ensuring secure, compliant, and resilient delivery across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Development & Delivery
    • Develop and implement systems development projects aligned with organisational goals, selecting appropriate methods, tools, and techniques.
    • Engage stakeholders and resources to ensure successful project outcomes, monitoring progress and reporting on key metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with architecture, standards, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk, Audit & Compliance
    • Contribute to and execute risk-based audits of processes, products, systems, and services, identifying and documenting risks with clear root cause analysis.
    • Collate evidence, interpret control measures, and deliver actionable audit reports to stakeholders.
  • System & Solution Design
    • Design large or complex systems balancing functional and non-functional requirements, conducting impact analysis of major design options and trade-offs.
    • Review and validate systems design, recommending improvements and managing risks, providing expert advice to ensure alignment with standards and policies.
  • Methods, Tools & Governance
    • Evaluate, implement, and promote best-fit methods and tools across programmes and projects, contributing to organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for methods, tools, and system design.
    • Manage benefits reviews and recommend process/tooling improvements.
  • Systems Integration & Automation
    • Lead development of organisational systems integration and automation capabilities, identifying, evaluating, and managing adoption of tools, processes, and frameworks for robust integration.
    • Provide authoritative guidance on integration, risk management, and preventative actions, designing, coding, testing, and refactoring complex scripts and integration services.
Must-Have Technical Skills
  • Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (on-prem), Artifactory, Git, Fortify, and SonarQube.
  • Strong hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline development and automation, proficiency with monitoring and logging tools: Spectrum, AppDynamics, ELK stack.
  • Solid background in large-scale enterprise environments, ideally in financial services.
