Enterprise Architect

As the Enterprise Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in defining and governing the organisation's data and integration architecture. You'll lead the blueprinting of the current state and help design the roadmap for future-state architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and transformation initiatives.
This role sits within a collaborative architecture team and works closely with data governance, business intelligence, IT operations, and delivery teams to maximise the value of enterprise information assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive view of enterprise-wide data and integration architecture.
- Lead the blueprinting of current-state architecture to support operating model change.
- Define strategic roadmaps and investment proposals for information platforms.
- Chair the Data Design Authority and lead governance processes.
- Provide expert guidance to solution architects and project teams.
- Ensure architectural compliance with standards, policies, and strategic objectives.
You're a seasoned Enterprise Architect or Senior Information Architect with:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems or information architecture.
- Strong knowledge of architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, DAMA).
- Proven ability to lead data governance and provide design assurance.
- Experience in complex, multi-domain environments (e.g. higher education, health, public sector).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and digital transformation.
- Bonus: Experience with AI/ML systems, metadata management, and data modelling.
