Job Title: Electrician Supervisor

The role of an Electrician Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the electrical team, ensuring safety and compliance with all tasks. This position involves leading a team of electricians and performing various maintenance and repairs throughout the island.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced electrician who is looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the Electrical team to ensure high-quality work and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including light and power installations, white goods, AV systems, motors, and pumps.
  • Oversee daily operations, including emergency work and prioritizing urgent repairs to ensure guest comfort and safety.
  • Accurately record labor hours, materials, and requisition information.
  • Assist other trades as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
  • Essential qualifications include a School Certificate, Queensland Electrical Work License – Electrical Mechanic, eligibility to be the Qualified Technical Person for HIE Restricted Electrical Contractors License, minimum 2 years full-time trade experience, QLD open/unrestricted driver's license, current CPR & LVR, and previous supervisory experience.
  • Desirable qualifications include experience in the tourism or hospitality industry.
