Job Overview">

As a Signal Electrician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our rail network by installing and repairing signalling equipment. You will also be responsible for attending signalling failures to analyse, repair and report on cause of signal failures.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team to resolve complex issues.

  • Install and repair signalling equipment
  • Attend signalling failures to analyse, repair and report on cause of signal failures
  • Maintain records and associated documentation relating to asset renewal programs and costing systems
  • Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program and report any equipment performance and condition irregularities

">Requirements">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate IV Railway Signalling qualification
  • A Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
  • A Current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence or interstate equivalent that can be changed over prior to starting
  • The capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland
