Job Title: Supervisor of Plumbing and Gas Fitting Systems

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team and oversee the operation of all plumbing and gas fitting systems.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in trade experience, relevant qualifications, and industry-specific licenses such as QBCC Queensland Type A Gas Fitter license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the plumbing and gas fitting team, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across all tasks.
  • Oversee repairs, maintenance, and installations of plumbing and gas systems, prioritizing urgent issues to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards, and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good condition.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory compliance, ensuring work meets local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, and mentor junior staff to enhance skills and foster a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Be available for on-call duties and assist with emergency response efforts when required.
