System Architect Technician

Are you a highly skilled professional seeking to leverage your technical expertise in designing and implementing robust computer systems? We are currently looking for a seasoned System Architect Technician to join our team. This role will involve the design, development, and maintenance of complex computer systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.

Job Description:

  • Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Maintains an organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems
  • Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
  • Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
  • Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
  • Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
  • Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users
  • May evaluate existing systems and assist with planning long-term strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Skills: Systems Administration, Systems Architecture
  • Certifications: IAT Level II cert required; CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Experience: HS or GED + 19 Years experience; Bachelors + 14 Years experience
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI FS poly
