We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Howard Smith Wharves. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving business success by providing financial insights and strategic advice to various departments.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partnering: Collaborate with our Group Operations Manager and venue General Managers to drive improved performance through the development and implementation of action plans.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present weekly and quarterly financial reports on our businesses' performance to Group Management.
- Management: Directly manage several support services to ensure efficient operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our accounting and administration team to process AR & AP and prepare monthly management accounts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and forecasts for all HSW businesses.
We require a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in a senior accounting or accounting/operations role, with a CA or CPA qualification and 10 years' experience. Hospitality industry experience is advantageous, as is previous experience with MYOB Advanced and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
