About the Role:

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to work in remote Northern Territory communities.


  • As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in culturally safe and collaborative environments.

Job Description:

This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality care as part of a unique locum-based program. You will work on-site in remote clinics, often for short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A fellowship with either Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a general practitioner within the past 12 months.
  • Evidence of completion of current and previous triennium requirements and active participation in continuing education recognised by the relevant specialist college.
  • Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance as a General Practitioner (Level 1).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
