As a seasoned housekeeping professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment that coordinates and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in our guest rooms and public spaces.

The role involves coordinating daily housekeeping operations, including room allocations, inspections, and laundry services. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency across all areas, performing thorough room inspections to guarantee a high level of quality, and liaising with front office and other departments to meet guest requirements.

We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, who can motivate and support colleagues to deliver exceptional results. You will be instrumental in recruiting and training a diverse and engaged team, establishing a strong level of success within your department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Performing room inspections to ensure consistency
  • Liaising with front office and other departments for guest requirements
  • Ensuring departmental consistency and managing lost property
  • Working with the Housekeeping Manager to optimize staff performance
  • Inspecting rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance
  • Maintaining exemplary department standards and behavior
  • Demonstrating awareness of OHS policies and procedures
  • Committing to guest security and privacy according to IHG guidelines

In this role, you will be required to have excellent time management skills, delegation, and problem-solving abilities. A strong focus on skills training and total quality management is essential, as well as fitness to be on your feet most of the day, strength to lift items up to 23 kilograms, and good verbal and written communication skills.
