Housekeeping Team Leader Position

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Team Leader to join our dynamic hotel team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a hotel or commercial cleaning environment, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising daily housekeeping operations, including planning and assigning work to others.
  • Conducting room checks and inspections, and following up on concerns with relevant team members.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training of new housekeeping colleagues.
  • Coordinating with the Housekeeping Manager regarding tools and equipment.
  • Fostering teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Supporting projects such as deep cleaning and assisting housekeeping operations during high volume periods.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a hotel or commercial cleaning environment.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience is highly regarded.
  • Confident verbal communication skills in English and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload.
  • Fitness required, with occasional lifting of items up to 23 kilograms and push/pulling heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work allocated shifts between 7am and 6pm across a 7 day rotating roster.
