Security Services Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Security Services Operations Specialist to join our team at Flexhive. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in security services operations, contract management, and procurement.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of approximately $80 per hour, plus superannuation. Job DescriptionAs a Security Services Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing procurement and contract management oversight and support to our Office Building Security function. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Providing quality advice to staff regarding the operational and commercial aspects of our current contracting arrangements;
- Leading the Security function uplift program, focusing on improving delivery processes, undertaking Purchase Order Contract administration and governance, advisory, negotiations, and management activities to ensure sound governance, smooth business processes, and maximum value to the organization;
- Managing the procurement process for the future retendering of security services under the State Purchase Contract, including drafting tender documents, seeking input from internal and external stakeholders, and liaising closely with the Procurement team;
- Liaising with the Procurement team to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures;
- Supporting the Senior Manager, Contracts and Procurement with the management, implementation, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), benefit realization, and outcome-based contract performance and compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and master supplier contract management, including the ability to interpret and provide advice based on complex contract documents and legislative requirements;
- Ability to influence and resolve commercial issues through negotiations with multiple stakeholders;
- Experience in driving supplier performance, ideally in an operations delivery environment or security function;
- Experience in implementing contract management frameworks;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage, advise, and negotiate with stakeholders;
- Tertiary qualification in Contract Management, Facilities Management, or Procurement, or significant experience in a similar role.
