Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and investigations to identify and address work health and safety risks and hazards.
  • Provide guidance and support to employers and employees to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and regulations.
  • Develop and implement prevention programs and campaigns to promote workplace health and safety.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including employers, workers, and government agencies, to resolve WHS issues and disputes.
  • Conduct presentations and training sessions to educate employers and employees on WHS best practices.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Government (Workplace Inspection) or equivalent qualification.
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Character clearance (police records check).
  • Health clearance.
  • Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
