Corporate Tax Manager

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and sound judgment to provide value-added recommendations that enhance overall tax efficiency.

This role is responsible for overseeing corporate tax compliance processes in coordination with third-party providers, preparing and filing sales and use tax returns (monthly, quarterly, and annually), managing income, sales/use, and property tax audits, including communication with external auditors. The individual must also respond to and manage inquiries and notices from tax authorities, assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, including estimated tax calculations, research complex tax issues, and provide recommendations on current and emerging tax legislation. Additionally, the candidate should identify opportunities to optimize tax credits, incentives, and deductions, review and evaluate accounting procedures for compliance, accuracy, and process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation (Master's preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
