Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our claims management team and drive customer satisfaction through effective claim resolution.
As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for building, embedding, and leading a culture of customer obsession within the team.
You will oversee the management of insurance claims on behalf of members through proactive case management, ensuring that customers receive high-quality service and support.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership and management, with experience in performance management, change management, recruitment, and staff motivation.
They will also possess advanced stakeholder management capabilities, with experience managing multiple stakeholders to influence and negotiate outcomes of a complex nature.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to communicate complex issues effectively, assess risk, and provide improvement recommendations.
In addition, the successful candidate will be able to evaluate team member performance, provide coaching and feedback, and implement development plans to support ongoing growth and knowledge sharing.
This is a permanent/full-time opportunity, and we are flexible with location provided you can attend the Brisbane or Melbourne office at least once a week.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Leadership and management experience with a focus on customer service and team development.
- Advanced stakeholder management capability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively, assess risk, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the interests of members with integrity.
- Proven business and commercial acumen, with experience in performance management, change management, recruitment, and staff motivation.
