Leadership Opportunity in Claims Management
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to head our claims management team. As the Head of Claims, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to streamline our claims settlement process, ensuring efficient and effective claim outcomes.
The role involves managing proactively third-party claims, minimizing claims leakage, and managing complaints related to insurance third-party claim settlements. Key duties include staying informed on industry trends, particularly credit hire practices, and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills. You will also require a strong working knowledge of motor insurance claims management relative to applicable legislation, processes, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement claims management strategies
- Manage third-party claims and minimize claims leakage
- Ensure regulatory compliance and manage disputes
- Monitor and report on claims performance
Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in the insurance industry or similar. You should have a strong working knowledge of motor insurance claims management relative to applicable legislation, processes, and industry best practices.
