About the Job

This is a dynamic and engaging role where no two days are the same. As an Animal Management Compliance Officer, you will be the front line of ensuring community safety and animal welfare across the Cairns region.

The role involves proactive patrols, enforcing Council's Local Laws and the Animal Management (Cats & Dogs) Act 2008, investigating complaints, and supporting the community through education and awareness programs.

You will deal with barking complaints, off-leash dogs, or livestock on roads to create a safer, more harmonious environment for people and animals.
