About This Role

This position plays a crucial part in the operations team, working closely with stakeholders to achieve key objectives and deliver high-quality results.

As a transport and logistics leader, you will be responsible for implementing strategies and plans that align with the business vision.

Your primary focus will be on developing and executing transport planning and scheduling initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration with Trading and Operational teams.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Developing and implementing efficient transport planning and scheduling processes
  • Leading and managing the Transport Team to ensure optimal performance
  • Capacity and operational planning to maximize returns
  • Managing carrier and fleet performance to maintain high standards
  • Implementing, monitoring, and governing transport systems for safety and customer compliance
  • Identifying and implementing transport initiatives to enhance timely, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of products

Foundations for Success
  • 5+ years of logistics management experience, preferably in transport planning
  • Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience in managing fleet and carriers, with a deep understanding of vehicle types and capacity
  • Advanced stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
