**Job Opportunity:** Marine Systems Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Systems Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

As a Marine Systems Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine systems. This includes eliminating the need to work on live electrical and mechanical equipment, understanding testing procedures, and being competent in the use of testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirm electrical/mechanical isolation requirements
  • Eliminate the need to conduct working on live electrical equipment
  • Understand testing procedures and be competent in the use of testing equipment
  • Assess and approve all activities where hazardous energy may be present and issue permit to work

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30205) or higher
  • Construction white card
  • C class driver's licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Marine Trade or Systems Engineering

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent position

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to read, understand and complete Risk Assessment Tools
  • Ability to read, understand and complete Inductions and Safety questionnaires
  • Ability to communicate effectively in industrial and marine workplaces

**Schedule:** Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

**Salary:** Competitive hourly rate.

**Education:** Certificate I - IV required.

**Experience:** 2 years in Mechanical engineering preferred.

**Licence/Certification:** White Card and Driver Licence required.

**Work Authorisation:** Australia required.

**Work Location:** One location.
