Financial Operations Manager

We believe that effective financial stewardship is crucial for delivering exceptional early learning outcomes. The RoleWe seek an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to oversee the centre's financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including childcare fees and supplier payments
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant awards and entitlements
- Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger entries
- Monitor cash flow and support funding/grant reporting
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies as required. RequirementsQualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Diploma or higher)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting roleFamiliarity with early childhood education funding processes (desirable)
Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB)High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsCurrent Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration or willingness to obtain
