About the Role

You will be working as part of a small team responsible for managing the agency's financial operations. This involves day-to-day and monthly processing, including reconciliations, debt management, working capital needs, and preparing reports for senior management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial processing and monthly operations, including debt management and reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, costings, taxation, and procedural guidelines in line with relevant legislation and frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities and implement process improvement projects and support stakeholders through change.
  • Undertake procurement reporting for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with TechnologyOne and Aurion systems.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and using computer-based records for accounting purposes.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
