The Finance and Corporate Performance Branch supports us to meet our obligations for efficient use of public resources effectively.
As Assistant Director Financial Systems, you will be responsible for leading the management and implementation of improvements to our suite of Financial Management Information Systems.
You will participate in section planning, aligning longer-term plans with our goals and objectives, and undertake assurance activities and testing.
This role involves managing and implementing Whole of Australian Government contracts on behalf of our organization.
To excel, you'll need:
- Proven ability to lead a team to ensure high-quality outputs and build expertise.
- Experience in supervising and maintaining an FMIS and other finance-specific systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage internal and external relationships.
- Ability to manage contracts and stakeholder engagement for ongoing support of financial systems.
Desirable skills include experience in FMIS management, tertiary qualifications in accounting, and knowledge of working in a public sector environment.
Eligibility requirements include being an Australian citizen, undergoing character and security clearances, and meeting specific recruitment process requirements.
