Job Summary

This position is responsible for guiding the development and delivery of training solutions across various defense programs.

The individual will play a key role in shaping our training capabilities, with a focus on operational readiness and national objectives.

To be successful, the candidate must hold a tertiary degree in Instructional Systems Design or a related field. They should also possess proven experience in leading teams and developing training content, as well as technical expertise in end-to-end training and courseware development.

A strong leader, the ideal candidate will have people management skills, including capability planning and workforce development. They will be able to direct a multi-disciplinary team comprising instructional designers, courseware developers, ground-based training instructors, and training analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine training content and delivery strategies
  • Create training workforce plans
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support bids and proposals for similar capabilities
  • Serve as an accountable manager for our Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
