We are seeking an innovative and proactive Health Advisor to join our team in Queensland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing early intervention strategies to prevent workplace injuries, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. You will be responsible for coordinating return-to-work processes, managing injury reporting and investigation, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Injury Prevention and Management: Develop and implement injury management programs to promote employee well-being and prevent workplace injuries.
  • Return-to-Work Coordination: Coordinate the return-to-work process for employees, including communicating with stakeholders and facilitating timely returns to work.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with managers and employees to identify workplace accommodations and modifications to support returning employees.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with governing bodies and insurers' corrective actions regarding workplace injuries.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of injury management and return-to-work programs.
About You and Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Workers.
  • Clinical Reasoning: Strong clinical reasoning skills to assess and address employee injuries effectively.
  • Collaboration: Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of common goals.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to injury management and workplace safety.
