Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced counsellor to provide high-quality support services for students.
- This role will involve delivering individual and group counselling sessions, as well as collaborating with teaching staff to identify and address student wellbeing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide short-term counselling and risk assessments to support student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the wellbeing team to assess and support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
- Assist students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
- Deliver counselling in individual and group settings and liaise with external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
- Communicate proactively with staff and families to identify and support student wellbeing needs.
- Promote a whole-school approach to wellbeing and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in counselling or a related field.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
