About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue for Sureway Skills Training (SST) by building and nurturing strong relationships with businesses, employers, and stakeholders.
This is a target-driven role that requires a proven track record of success in revenue growth and fostering new business opportunities within existing client bases. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with Local Employers, State Funding Bodies, Employment Service Providers, Local Government, and Industry Associations to grow Traineeship Enrolments for SST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with local employers and stakeholders to increase and manage traineeship enrolments
- Forecast, secure new business, and track revenue opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to expand our network
- Maintain links between industry, employer, and community
- Prepare service agreements, contribute to submissions, and assist in developing business proposals
- Monitor and report on budgets and financial performance
- Contribute to the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns
A relevant tertiary qualification is required for this role. Experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) industry, Employment services industry, and Government contracting environment is highly regarded.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a range of benefits including a competitive salary with performance-based incentives, flexible working environment with a focus on work-life balance, a supportive and dynamic team environment, opportunities for professional development and career growth, access to ongoing training and industry networking events, birthday leave, and an additional week of leave after 3 years of service.
